Resumen: While the constitutional developments in Spain has been, in the last two decades, systematically followed by Polish scholars, only rarely has their research gone beyond some basics. Until 1976, the political situation did not allow any academic contacts between our countries. The full normalisation became possible after 1989, when the process of transformation had begun in Poland. However, the geographical distance and, first of all, the linguistic barriers, have not disappeared. In effect, also in the 1990s., there have been only few publications on the Spanish constitutional system. Nevertheless, the text of the 1978 Constitution was translated into Polish, as well as the text of the 1979 Constitutional Court Act. |
